Varma's life in threat with Raktha Charitra

The movie ‘Raktha Charitra’ is surrounded with full of controversies from the day project has been announced. As already known, this flick is based on the real life stories of Paritala Ravi and Maddelacheruvu Suri and the burning faction between both of these families which rung new violence levels in Rayalaseema.

Although Varma has contacted Paritala Sunita before the start of this venture, later the  scene about head tonsuring of Pawan Kalyan has become talk of the town few weeks ago. Now, release of the movie merely few days to go; Obul Reddy and his followers are threatening Varma for projecting Obul Reddy in negative perspective in the movie.

After the brutal massacre of Paritala Ravi; Suri spent his time in Cherlapally Jail and actually Obul Reddy is known to be belonging to the same group of Suri. It might be a surprise what Suri is saying. ‘Obul Reddy doesn’t belong to my group and any of the threatening phone calls with the name of Suri is not to be considered significant by Varma. From our side, we don’t have any complaints on Varma and his movie.’

After receiving life threatening phone calls and fax messages to Ramgopal Varma’s office in Mumbai; Varma seems little disturbed and approached Mumbai Police to look into the case.

By the way, these kinds of controversies are not new to Varma and his films. It was already seen with ‘Sarkar’ and ‘Sarkar Raj’ where Shiv Sena issued lethal threats to Varma. As we know, Varma will be using even these threats for the publicity of movie ‘Raktha Charitra.’

Let us hope that all these misconceptions about the story be cleared once the movie releases in next month.
