With their disruptions continuing, Siddharth, with folded hands, expressed gratitude to the audience and decided to exit the event. The Cauvery Water Regulatory Committee (CWRC) recently recommended that the Karnataka government release 3,000 cusecs of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu for 18 days starting from September 28. In response, the ruling Congress in Karnataka has opted to challenge the committee's orders in the Supreme Court.

The longstanding Cauvery water dispute between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka has resurfaced, prompting farmers from both states to take to the streets, demanding a fair allocation of the river's water. This situation has led to disruptions in Bengaluru, with pro-Kannada organizations calling for a bandh. Karnataka is set to remain shut on September 29 as well.
