Skanda: Strategic Overseas Release To Outsmart Biased Reviewers

Much hyped 'Skanda', in Ram Pothineni - Boyapati Sreenu's combination is just one day away from its release. Srinivasaa Silver Screen has produced the action entertainer co-starring Sree Leela, Srikanth, Saiee Manjrekar, 'Kalakeya' Prabhakar, Sharath Lohithaswa and others. The film hits the screens this Thursday (September 28). 

In a tactical move, the makers have decided to skip screening premiere shows in overseas territories like the US on September 27. This has been done to checkmate fake reviewers who manufacture unfavourable reviews even before watching the movie or even before the movie's FDFS shows in AP and Telangana get started. 

That means, the earliest shows of 'Skanda' will start simultaneously in India and the US. So, reviews that appear on the web or social media before 10 am on September 28 can't be trusted as authentic. As many recent films suffered due to biased reviews from early overseas shows, Skanda team decided to schedule shows at the same time allover the world.

The 'Legend' and 'Akhanda' director has cornered those who spread motivated negative talk before domestic shows are held in the Telugu States. With this strategic move, real and authentic reviews will be out first online. Through this move, director Boyapati and the makers of 'Skanda' have attempted to introduce a new practice in Telugu cinema.
