Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger recently shared a harrowing experience during his recovery from his third open-heart surgery. In a YouTube video, Schwarzenegger recounted how a medical error led to internal bleeding, requiring emergency surgery to save his life.

He was determined to return to filming "Terminator: Dark Fate" shortly after the surgery, so he focused on getting back on his feet. To achieve this, he enlisted the help of his friends to motivate him to start walking, even though it was a challenging task.

Schwarzenegger emphasized the importance of exercise to prevent pneumonia, which could have been fatal. With his positive attitude and a strong support system, he made a remarkable recovery and was back in action for the sixth Terminator installment. 

Schwarzenegger, who had a congenital heart defect, has undergone heart surgery three times in his life. “We made a mistake,” Schwarzenegger recalled the doctors saying to him in the YouTube video. This caused internal bleeding, he said, so his doctors had to “open me up very quickly to save my life.” “I was in the middle of a disaster,” he said.
