Kangana Ranaut on India name change. Kangana Ranaut responded to the proposed resolution to rename India as Bharat, sharing an old statement where she had previously advocated for the name change.

In her recent tweets, she emphasized the significance of the name 'Bharat.' She mentioned that the term 'India' had colonial connotations, and she celebrated the shift to 'Bharat.' Kangana also provided historical context, highlighting that 'Bharat' has deep-rooted cultural significance dating back to the Mahabharata era.

Regarding her upcoming work, Kangana is set to appear in Chandramukhi 2, portraying the role of a talented dancer in a royal court. She also has projects like Emergency and Tejas in her pipeline. 

The name change discussion emerged from an official dinner invitation for G20 delegates, where 'President of Bharat' was used instead of 'The President of India.'
