Director Gopichand Malineni is the lucky director of present times as few get such an open ground to have the haul as what ‘Don Seenu’ is having. With no strong opposition from any of the movies released, it is all the way Raviteja and Gopichand’s combo minting huge money at BO. With Rs. 20 Crore collected in two weeks, still no threats in the form of big releases for next one more week.

Here is an instance where producer Atchi Reddy is known to have kept confidence on Gopichand during the shoot. Although we see in titles of ‘Don Seenu’ that Sameer Reddy is the only cinematographer worked for the movie, it is known that Gopichand hired Chota K Naidu for just one song and that is last song ‘Raja Raja Raviteja’ which was picturized lavishly and the output is now seen.

With huge budget already spent lavishly, ‘Don Seenu’ is reaping the benefits on the same scale. That is how luck favored Gopichand, the debutant.
