Vishal on awards and politics. Vishal's candid remarks about awards were prompted by a question regarding the National Awards. He expressed his skepticism, saying, "I don't place much trust in awards. The most significant recognition comes from the audience who watches the film and appreciates an artist's performance. The true and honest award is the judgment of the viewers. Over the years, I've been fortunate to sustain my career in the film industry with the blessings of the audience, which is the most meaningful award to me. Even if I were to receive awards for my film roles, I would consider them insignificant."

In addition to his thoughts on awards, Vishal briefly touched upon the subject of potentially entering politics and participating in elections. Although he didn't make any definitive statements, he acknowledged the unpredictability of life by saying, "anything can happen."

Vishal is getting ready to entertain people with his film Mark Antony. The film directed by Adhik Ravichandran is releasing on 15 September 2023.

Vishal is busy with Thupparivaalan 2, sequel to his hit film Thupparivaalan  and he is not only starring but also directing the sequel.
