Raghavulu told news reporters that the actor-turned-politician K Chiranjeevi should reconsider his party's alliance with the Congress party before the Rajya Sabha elections.

He termed the tie-up with the Congress as ‘opportunist’ and said unless the Congress supports, the PRP cannot realize its dreams of winning a seat in the Upper House.

By tying up with a regional party, the Congress has made a blunder, he stated.

Raghavulu hoped the state does not have to face a midterm polls.

“There is no chance for midterm elections in the state and it is not good for the state also,” he stated.

The infighting for power has already started in the Congress and that is why the Congress has tied up with Praja Rajyam. As the Congress image is drubbing at the state level, it has tied up with a regional party to boost its image, he pointed out.

He said the Left parties have already geared up for the local body polls.
