Telangana Advocates Forum on Saturday filed a petition with the State Human Rights Commission (Shrc) and the Andhra Pradesh High Court directing the State Government to take action against Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, MLA Konda Surekha and MLC Konda Murali for creating law and order problem in the Telangana region.

Accepting the writ petition, Shrc Chairman Justice Subhashan Reddy issued notices to the state government and Warangal Superintendent of Police directing him to submit a comprehensive report by June 2 over the stone pelting and police firing at Mahabuababad Railway station during Odarpu yatra.

The advocates petitioned that the Kadapa MP did not take prior permission for the Odarpu yatra in the Telangana districts. They sought action against YSR loyalists Konda Surekha and Murali for encouraging the yatra and helped foment law and order problems in the region.
