Assembly Speaker N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday expressed satisfaction over the Budget session of the Assembly, which concluded here on Tuesday.
Talking to reporters, the Speaker expressed concern over the passing of Appropriation Bill 2010-11 in the House without debate.
“The House needs to discuss such important bills as they have an impact on all sections of people. The Opposition parties should effectively press for discussion on the bill. However, it totally failed discharging its duty properly,” he pointed out.
He said there were many problems which have come up for discussion during the Budget session. Even the question hour also has been extended to discuss the pressing issues, he observed.
The Speaker said he was considering to constitute a committees on important public issues on the lines of Parliament.
The concerned ministers had been directed to give replies for questions raised during zero hour in the House as early as possible, the speker observed.
Referring to the conduct of the Houe, he noted that he was strictly following the rules and regulations in running the House smoothly.
