Cabinet approves Telangana Govt logo

The Telangana Cabinet has approved the logo of Government of Telangana.

During its first and informal meeting chaired by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the State Secretariat on Monday, the Cabinet approved the logo. The logo, designed by noted artist Laxman Aelay, has two iconic monuments of Telangana, the Charminar and the Kakatiya Kala Thoranam besides the Ashok Chakra.

Briefing the media persons later, Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy said that the approval of logo was the only agenda for the first meeting of Telangana cabinet. He said that the cabinet would meet later to discuss and take other major policy decisions.

He also informed that the cabinet has agreed to convene the session of the State Legislative Assembly from June 9th or 10th.
