The proceedings of the Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly remained paralysed for the second consecutive day on Tuesday over the notice served by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy seeking rejection of State Reorganisation Bill.
As soon as the House met at 9 AM, the YSR Congress Party MLAs gave the adjournment motion notice seeking clarity on Telangana Bill. Speaker Nadendla Manohar disallowed the adjourned motion. Meanwhile, a majority of legislators from the Telangana region stormed the Speaker's podium and raised slogans against the Chief Minister. At the same time, the Seemaandhra MLAs too trooped into the well demanding that the Speaker place the notices issued by the Chief Minister and others under Rule 77 before the House for consideration.
The ministers from Telangana region too joined the protest by standing at their respective seats and raised slogans against the Chief Minister. Amidst the din, the Speaker adjourned the House at about 9.05 AM for an hour.

Normalcy could be restored when the Assembly re-assembled at about 2 PM. The House was literally divided into two groups with Telangana legislators demanding the Chief Minister to withdraw the notice while the Seemandhra MLAs wanted the Speaker to table the notice for consideration.
At about 2.05 PM, the Speaker adjourned the House for the day after calling all the floor leaders for the meeting of Business Advisory Committee in his chambers.
