Amos advises Seemandhra leaders to focus on new capital

Congress Mlc KR Amos has advised the Seemandhra leaders to concentrate on developing their own capital than trying to stall the process of Telangana formation.

Speaking to media persons in the Assembly premises here on Thursday, Amos said that the Seemandhra leaders were wasting their energies in seeking change in the status of Hyderabad. Instead, he said that they advise an appropriate place for the new capital for the residual State of Andhra Pradesh. He said that the Centre was ready to provide funds for the development of the new capital.

Therefore, instead of trying to incite regional feelings and protests by making statements on the status of Hyderabad, the Seemandhra leaders should centre their energies on the new capital, Amos said.
