Cong MLA demands DL, Ramchandraiah's removal

Alleging that ministers Dr Dl Ravindra Reddy and C Ramchandraiah were acting as the agents of YSR Congress party, Kamalapuram MLA G Veerasiva Reddy and former MLA Varadarajulu Reddy demanded that the ministers be immediately dropped from the cabinet. All these leaders hail from Kadapa district.

Talking to reporters in the Assembly premises here on Wednesday, Veerasiva Reddy alleged that the both the ministers have not only opposed the Congress candidates in the Cooperative elections, but ensured their defeat by having a secret pact with the YSRCP. He alleged that former MP Dr MV Mysoora Reddy, now with YSRCP, used the ministers to defeat the official candidates of Congress party.

Stating that he would lodge a complaint with the Congress High Command, Veerasiva Reddy asked the Chief Minister to sack both the ministers besides initiating probe into the assets of Ravindra Reddy, which he claimed were of more than Rs 2,000 crore.

However, Health Minister Ravindra Reddy denied the allegations and claimed that he kept himself away from the cooperative elections.
