Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday came down heavily on YSR Congress party for trying to lure the leaders and MLAs of other parties with money.
Talking to media persons while participating in the election campaign in West Godavari district, Naidu accused YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy of influencing the MLAs by offering huge financial packages. He also came down heavily on Jagan Mohan Reddy for threatening film director Ram Gopal Verma of dire consequences.
Due to active role played by media and judicial activism, Naidu said that the corruption and scandals came to light. He said that the people of State would teach a fitting lesson to the corrupt politicians in the by-elections. “The by-elections have provided an opportunity to the people to expose Jagan Mohan Reddy’s corruption,” he said.
