Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao will campaign in Kovvur assembly constituency on March 6 and 7.
Making the announcement at Telangana Bhavan here on Monday, Chandrasekhar Rao said that the party has formally decided to contest the by-elections from Kovvur seat of Nellore district. However, he said a local candidate would be fielded from the seat. A separate committee will also be constituted to supervise campaign for the seat, he said.
Chandrasekhar Rao alleged that Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu owns a 300 acres of land on some benami names near Balayyapalli of Nellore district. He said that the land belongs to Dalits and Girijans. He demanded that the State Government order a probe into his allegations which would expose the TDP chief.
