Not satisfied with Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s reply on discussion on Motion of Thanks to Governor ESL Narasimhan’s address, the Bharatiya Janata Party and Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Thursday staged a walk out from the House.

Talking to media persons later, CPI (M) floor leader Julakanti Rangareddy said that the government failed to mention anything about the burning issues in the Thanks Giving Motion. Even when the party suggested the Chief Minister to make some modifications, he did not respond favourably.

BJP Floor leader E Lakshminarayana said that the Chief Minister failed to mention any word about the Telangana state in the Thanks Giving Motion of Governor. When the BJP pressed the CM about the Telangana state, Kiran Kumar said that the statehood issue was `sensitive’ and government would follow whatever decision the Centre announces.
