Telangana Political Joint Action Committee Chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Wednesday alleged that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar reddy hatched conspiracy to water down the Telangana agitation.

Talking to media persons after flagging off bus yatra launched by Telangana Vidyavantula Vedika expressing solidarity with employees' general strike, Prof Kodandaram alleged that the Chief Minister was resorting to coercive methods to foil the agitation. The Chief Minister is misusing the police force to attack Telangana activists, he alleged while referring to the attack on Employees' JAC chairman Swamy Goud.

Warning the Chief Minister of serious consequences if he did not stop repressive measures on employees, he said that the agitation would be continued till Centre takes a decision on creation of separate Telangana state fulfilling the aspirations and sentiments of region people.

The JAC chairman also alleged that it was at the Chief Minister's instance that the Seemandhra leaders were making provocative statements on incite violence. However, he appealed to Telangana people not fall in trap of the Chief Minister and ensure that the agitation continues peacefully.
