The senior leader also said that the relations between the people of all the three regions were deteriorating rapidly and this must be prevented. “It is very sad that the situation is going from bad to worse, with leaders from Seemandhra and Telangana regions speaking against each other with increasing vehemence. This must be stopped and it can only happen when the Seemandhra leaders give in to the separate statehood demand,” Mr Hanumantha Rao said.

The senior leader also ‘advised’ Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha to visit Medak district and console the families of those who committed suicide for the sake of Telangana.

Mr Hanumantha also held the Resident Commissioner of Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in New Delhi responsible for the unsavoury incidents of Thursday when Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA Harish Rao lost his cool and slapped Officer on Special Duty Chander Rao for shifting Yadireddy’s body directly to the airport instead of allowing it in the Bhavan for the leaders to pay their respects.
