Distressed by the fact that she was not invited to the Congress Working Committee elections, former minister Konda Surekha on Friday revealed that she has written a four-page letter to All India Congress Committee president Sonia Gandhi.
Talking to media persons, Ms Surekha said that she has mentally disturbed by the absence of her name in the list of invitees issued by All India Congress Committee.
She expressed her sadness for not being invited for the polls, even though she was from the Backward Caste. She said that even Marreppa, who is from Schedule Caste and other leaders from the state such as K Keshava Rao, G Venkatswamy, Rayapati Sambasiva Rao and Lagadapati Rajagopal were invited to the polls.
Ms Surekha further questioned that why High Command has not taken any action against the senior Congress leader and Member of Parliament V Hanumanth Rao, who behaved like a ‘street rowdy’ at Mahabubnagar.
The former minister further questioned that why not High Command has taken any action against Guntur MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao who had raised fingers at Cabinet Ministers and alleged them of indulging in corruption.
Ms Surekha also charged the government of supporting those persons who are planning to kill her husband.
