Trisha's movie goes to Oscars

Petite beauty Trisha has enough reasons to celebrate about her mediocre debut in Bollywood. Yes, her ‘Khatta Meetha’ which was rated as an average film from hit combination of Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar, yet she is happy for the only reason that this script of ‘Khatta Meetha’ is going to Oscar library.

Priyadarshan has received an official e-mail from The Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences in LA, asking him for a copy of the screenplay of ‘Khatta Meetha’ for the permanent core collection. They have said the ‘script will be used for research purposes only; students, filmmakers, writers and actors are among our regular patrons.’

A pleased Priyadarshan said, ‘It’s a great honour that the script of Khatta Meetha  will be used for research by students of cinema. I feel that it is also a recognition of the hard work involved in writing the script.’
