Genelia in genial mood

Genelia, who comes cheaper than the top league actresses is a rage with the ad wallahs. The actress recently won an award for Brand Ambassador of the Year at a business awards function. Not only was she over the moon about winning this award, she was also deeply touched by the support she got from the industry.

Ken Ghosh, Shahid Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Sophie Choudry and her ever faithful fan Chetan Bhagat sent her congratulatory messages. Incidentally, author Chetan is the new crusader for Bollywood beauties. He is either defending Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or calling himself a Genelia fan. Talk about going from the sublime to the ridiculous all in one go.

Anyway, it seems Chetan congratulated Genelia in his own style reminiscing her advent into the glam world from a model playing a fan to Mr. Bachchan in a commercial to now endorsing nine brands herself and being the brand ambassador of the year.
