Chiru's old heroine to come back

Sumalatha, the beautiful heroine who was seen with Chiranjeevi in movies like ‘Khaidi’ has got married to Ambarish, the Kannadiga and settled well in life. At this juncture when film stars like Roja, Rambha, Meena and Radhika are seeking refuge on the small screen to resurrect their careers, Sumalatha is walking on a different path.

Sumalatha doesn’t like to act in ads or she is not interested in becoming a judge on the reality shows. ‘I do not watch TV serials. Even these reality shows appear to be quite fake,’ Sumalatha openly comments. But, Sumalatha is impressed by a new concept of Zee Telugu titled ‘Bathuku Jatka Bandi’ which deals about real problems faced by real people in this real society.

So, Sumalatha is making a come back on small screen anchoring this ‘Bathuku Jatka Bandi’ from coming Friday.
