If a section of audience are overwhelmed by the response to ‘Simha’ release; other section of people are worried by the degrading standards in Telugu cinema which is offering a plat form to spill venom in the name of ‘Vamsham’ and ‘Jaathi.’
Keeping a side roaring performance of Balakrishna; there are few points in ‘Simha’ which really stroked hard at the audience and they can no doubt be treated as Directorial blunders which may play spoil sport. First is a scene where word like ‘L**** Koduka’ was uncensored and the other is where Balakrishna dialogue goes like this:
‘Charitra Srushtinchaali Anna Charitra Tiraga Raayaali Anna Adi Maa Vamshaanike Saadhyam. Migatha Vaallantha Silly Fellows….Burada Jaathi.’
Movies are not to generate feelings based on ‘Vamsham’ and other useless stuff. Yes, it was sure that Boyapati Srinu has himself created a situation to fit this dialogue but many felt that it was needless and senseless to extend the dialogue to that extent, which would sure hurt the sentiments of many.
As a dialogue writer, he could have pleased few but he crossed every limit.
