The Blockbuster Torture for Directors

When producers spend Crores of rupees on developing lavish products, even directors handling those projects will be equally tensed to reach the expectations. They work relentlessly to deliver hit movies and in the process, producers should understand the creative freedom required for directors. But, producer Bandla Ganesh seems to be an over-dedicated and over-enthusiastic person who continually tortures the directors requesting them to give him only a blockbuster hit and nothing less than that.

Director Srinu Vytla expressed about facing the torture of Ganesh during the making of ‘Baadshah,’ now Puri Jagannath shared same feelings in the making of ‘Iddarammayilatho.’ ‘He used to torture me daily questioning, ‘Anna Mana Cinema Blockbuster Avuthundi Kadaa?’ I answered him again and again. Today, the movie which we have on hand is the result of his ‘Blockbuster Torture.’ Still, he is the best and most comfortable producer, I ever worked with,’ Puri said.
