Lankan Heroine Troubles Top Director

Currently Prabhudeva is deep submerged with duties related to post-production and release works of his next directorial ‘Ramaiya Vastavaya’ starring Girish Kumar and Shruti Hasan in leads. This is a direct Hindi remake of Telugu hit flick ‘Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana’ directed by Prabhudeva. The point of interest and bone of contention here is Prabhu picked Sri Lankan hot babe Jacqueline Fernandez as second heroine in the film which isn’t welcomed by Tamil audience.

Due to indiscriminate massacres and un-describe-able sorrows faced by native Tamilians in Sri Lanka, from a long time Tamil Nadu political groups and NGOs are against shooting of Tamil films and participation by Tamil directors in any of shooting activities in Sri Lanka. Now, Prabhu selected Lanka girl Jacqueline and this is considered as a direct attack on the sentiments of Tamilians by Hindi religious group ‘Hindu Makkal Katchi.’
