Two Copy Films Turn Duds in 10 Days

Last 10 days, we have seen two movies 'Jabardast' and 'Mr. Pelliukoduku' releasing all over the state with good expectations. While, 'Jabardast' was a freemake or highly inspired from Bollywood hit film 'Band Baajaa Baaraat,' the second released yesterday is 'Mr. Pellikoduku' which is an official remake of 'Tanu Weds Manu.' Unfortunately both these films are ending up as duds with negative reviews and weak mouth talks.

The excellent characterizations and wonderful screenplay with emotional narration seen in 'TWM' and 'BBB' were no where evident in our remakes. Instead our directors relied on slapstick comedy with lack of flamboyance. Forget about the freshere but those who have watched the original ones in past will remain more disappointed. So sorry for director Nandini Reddy, Devi Prasad and producers Bellamkonda Suresh, NV Prasad, Paras Jain.
