Balakrishna’s most awaited flick ‘Srimannarayana’ is set for release on August 30. However, if we think that there is going to be no threat to Balayya from opponent releases, we might be wrong. Young hero Jiiva coming up with ‘Mask’ is also hitting the screens one day late on 31st and the ‘Rangam’ hero is playing the role of Bruce Lee in ‘Mask.’ This project has been very special for Jiiva because budget invested on him speaks the confidence level of makers.
‘I am the first Super Hero of South India. ‘Mask’ will run in the backdrop of bank robbery. Producers used British famous Gabriel Wilkinson to design my costumes spending Rs.56 Lakhs. Nearly 90% of the scenes are shot in dark and Mysskin is a superb director who handled the project stylishly. We worked three years together on this venture and made it possible. I even learnt Kung Fu fights and Hong Kong based Sifu Tony is the stunt master for ‘Mask.’ Sifu Tony usually composes fights for Jackie Chan, Jet Lee and Tony Jaa. This will be entirely a different experience for audience,’ said Jiiva keeping the fingers crossed for August 31.
