Costly Debut of Comedy Director

Creative concept maker Omkar is a successful personality on TV arena and has set the new benchmarks in reality dance shows. Now, he has become more of the comedy element for stage show artists and film directors like Bheemaneni. Industry sources although feel pity for him but still use Omkar’s accent and body language in comic sense. Now, this anchor turned concept creator is turning into a film director with ‘Genius.’

As mentioned earlier, ‘Genius’ is a costly project in the combo of Omkar, Chinni Krishna and Havish (‘Nuvvila’ fame) on which a budget of more than Rs.12 Crores is spent. Now, we hear that this prestigious debut directorial of Omkar will release some time in October competing with many biggies. Sanusha (‘Bangaram’ fame) plays heroine while Sarath Kumar, Pradeep Rawath, Ashwin (Omkar’s brother) will be seen in important roles. Music composed by Joshwa Sreedhar will be launched in September. So, this will be the costly debut for Omkar.
