Films like ‘Hyderabad Nawabs,’ ‘Angrez,’ ‘FM’ and ‘Hyderabad Bakra’ are favorites for local Hyderabadis. The flavor of old city is well imbibed in them with typical Hyderabad Urdu language spilled huge slapstick comedy making these flicks super hits and especially ‘Saleem Feku’ is remembered today. The team of RK, Masood and Mast Ali are seen again in yesterday’s release ‘Mogudu,’ as friends to hero Gopichand who is a pucca Hyderabadi in characterization.
Krishna Vamsi has made sure that there are few funny dialogues and especially the prologue for ‘Ettantee Mogudu’ is raising good laughs. All of the sudden we see, even Tapsee and Gopichand rendering perfect accent of Hyderabad Hindi in some scenes. Hero’s introduction song ‘Bachelor Boyz’ will have entire ‘Hyderabad Nawabs’ team shaking their legs. That is how KV brought the native flavor in ‘Mogudu.’
Earlier, it was only Pawan Kalyan who made it as a mandatory sentiment to add few punches of Hyderabad and its culture in his films as seen in 'Johnny' and 'Khushi.' Now, Krishna Vamsi too followed this odor. That is good work indeed.
