Actor Dr Rajasekhar sustained injuries during shooting for his new film ‘Mahankali’ on the set locales on the outskirts of Chennai on Monday. The actor was immediately rushed to Apollo Hospitals in Chennai where the doctors treating stated that the condition of actor was out of danger, according to reports reaching here.
The doctors said that Dr Rajasekhar suffered minor injuries on right hand, right eye and right ear. “There is no cause for concern about his health. He has been advised to take rest for 20 days,” the doctors said. According to sources, Dr Rajasekhar suffered injuries during the shooting of climax scenes at Kilpauk Medical College in Chennai.
The film is jointly produced by Eluru Surender Reddy and Paramdhama Reddy and directed by Rajasekhar’s wife and actress Jeevitha. According to sources, the story of the film is about a police officer ‘Mahankali’ who wants to get Hyderabad ridden of rowdyism. The plot revolves around his attempts to realise this objective and is based on real life incidents. Madhurima is playing the lead opposite Dr Rajasekhar while Vinod Kumar, Satya Prakash, Raghu, Jeeva and Suthivelu are playing other supporting roles. Music is composed by Chinna.
