'Robot' profit is Rs.47 Crores!

To keep an end to the guessing game and BO speculations, Sun Group has released the official collection figures of sensational hit ‘Robot’ that was released some four months ago. Starring Super Star Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai, this movie is released in three languages simultaneously viz. Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

Sun Group’s press release announced that their company earned total revenue of Rs.179 Crores on ‘Robot’ including Rs.15 Crores expected from Satellite rights while they have spent Rs.132 Crores on Production of this movie which means a total profit of Rs.47 Crores on this risky project. Better that none of the other producers in near future take this kind of high risk on an experimental subject. It is undoubtedly the star power of Rajinikanth that has done the trick.
