Varma reminds us Sirivennela

Genius director Ramgopal Varma has a best singer inside him. One whoever listen the song ‘Katthulatho Saavaasam…’ in ‘Raktha Charitra’ will surely appreciate the emotion and feel blown by Varma into it. As we know that Varma’s intentions towards the society and people may be disturbing many a times yet he gains the strong edge when he comes up something like this kind of songs which not only highlight the morale of his movie but also inspires people to think in his way.

However few of the members who fell flat for the lyrics of Kaluvasai and playback singing abilities of Varma with 'Kaththulatho...' have reminded the Sirivennela’s ‘Niggadeesi Adugu…’ from ‘Gayam.’ Obviously we can’t find any similarities in the core essence of these two songs but it is Sirivennela’s fire and harsh voice which lifted the spirit of song there, here it is Varma’s cool and conservative voice which made the depth in lyric to reach intricate depths of audience soul.

Hope to see Varma even grow as a playback singer in future.
