Rahman escapes Aishwarya from Salman

It was a long wait in Bollywood for past lovers Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai. With Macho Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Dabangg’ and Aishwarya’s ‘Robot’ are earlier slated for release on the same date, Bollywood was abuzz. Thanks to some busy schedules of AR Rahman that re-recording of ‘Robot’ is getting the release of ‘Robot’ delayed.

Makers of the Aishwarya & Rajnikanth starrer have been holding the release plans close to their heart along with Salman's film. With the ‘Eid’ festive season at its peak around this time, both the films wanted to make the best of this period. Keeping Salman’s image in view, if two films would have released on the same date, following the buzz ‘Dabangg’ is generating, Ash's film would have been definitely impacted, say Bollywood trade pundits.

‘Even I too heard about Rajnikanth's ‘Robot’ coming on the same date as ours. But we were not worried because ‘Eid’ falls at such a good time that both the big films can release simultaneously and still there is place for everyone. Of course, one could have suffered a bit but there is no clash now,’ said ‘Dabangg’ producer Arbaaz Khan, brother of Salman Khan.

Now, ‘Dabangg’ releases on September 10, while Aishwarya and ‘Robot’ escaped to come on September 24.
