Veera Dheera Soora (2025): What's Behind

Vikram is known for his versatile and impactful performances. Vikram who has been reeling under string of flops, came out of it with Maniratnam's Ponniyin Selvan I and II which turned out to be hits and won appreciation for his performance in Thangalaan. It is known that Vikram's project Veera Dheera Sooran  was announced longtime back but for some reason the film went into the back burner. The film was directed by SU.Arun Kumar is releasing in two parts, and much to the surprise of all , the film's second part is finally releasing first on 27 March 2025. Veera Dheera Sooran (Veera Dheera Soora) OTT rights are yet to be finalised and the deal will be inked at a later stage. Let us see whether Vikram hit the purple patch with Veera Dhoora Sooran which is releasing in Veera Dheera Soora in Telugu.

Veera Dheera Soora 2 (2025): Story Review

Veera Dheera Sooran (Veera Dheera Soora: Part 2) story revolves around a family person whose life takes a dangerous turn and how he tackles the shocking turns and the repercussions form the interesting part.

Peddayana (30 yrs Prudhvi) is forced to seek the help of Kaali (Vikram) who runs a provisional store. What Peddayana sought, how it is connected to Peddayana's son Kanna (Suraj Venjaramoodu), SP Arunagiri (Suryah.SJ) and Kaali's wife Vaani (Dushara Vijayan) form rest of the narration.

Veera Dheera Soora Part 2: Artists Review

Chiyaan Vikram is known for his versatility and he as usual performed accordingly. He showed good emotions and expressions as a caring family man and showed the courage and valor when he went all out for his trusted ones. Vikram played these kind of roles umpteen times in his career and it turned out to be a cakewalk for him. However, it did not offer much scope to showcase his acting to another level.

SJ.Suryah came up with a good performance as the police officer. He is very natural and realistic, and his expressions and emotions are good. 

30 years Prudhvi played an important role. He, for the first time, got a role that had scope to perform, and he did well creating an impact. 

Suraj Venjaramoodu is good in his role. Dushara Vijayan complemented well in her role as Vikram's wife. Others performed according to their roles. 

Veera Dheera Sooran 2: Technicians Review

Veera Dheera Soora 2 story is penned by SU. Arun Kumar. The story offered nothing new and the screenplay is slow with snail pace narration. The direction turned out to be pretty ordinary offering no highs at all. He tried to show Vikram getting entangled in a web of dangerous events when he tries to save the family of the person under whom he works.

The premise may be interesting on paper and Arun Kumar started the narration in a slow and steady manner and the first half despite the routine elements makes it an average and decent watch with Vikram with his performance ensuring that the interest levels are maintained despite the lack of intensity in the narration.

The interval bang is just ok and many expects the second half to come up with more interesting turn of events. However everything turns predictable though SU.Arun Kumar tried to excite all with three persons trying to outwit each other. Many expects the film to end once the pre climax appears but it is dragged to the core testing the patience of the viewers. Movie lovers will heave a sigh of relief when the film comes to an end.

They leave the theatres with heavy heart as to why Vikram is selecting such kind of substandard scripts despite being a good performer. To the top of it, they will also wonder why this simple story requires two parts and why the makers released the second part. After watching the film, people feel that it would have been better had the makers not released the film as it would have kept the interest levels over the project intact.

The music of GV. Prakash Kumar didn't make any impact. One song is melodious but has a routine element. His background music elevated some scenes, but turned out to be ordinary most of the time. 

GK.Prasanna's editing could have been better. There are scenes that dragged the narration and impacted the flow of the sequence. 

The Cinematography of Theni Eswar showed the scenes in a natural and realistic way. Production values are ok.

Vikram's Veera Dheera Soora 2: Rating Analysis

Altogether, Veera Dheera Soora 2 turns out to be routine action thriller. Right from the start till the finish, the entire narration had the predictable flavour. He failed to utilise Vikram's exceptional acting skills even by one percent. The screenplay and Direction lacked twists and turns.

Vikram is a terrific actor and a national award winner. However for all his talent, if he fails to select the right script then he will soon disappear into oblivion. Atleast Kangana Ranaut, two time national awards winner, despite her films not doing well, is trying out something different. However Vikram is stuck with the routine predictable flicks with really no scope to elevate with his acting.

Considering all these aspects, Cinejosh goes with a 2 rating for Veera Dheera Soora.
