Suriya To Rejoin With Sudha Kongara For Suriya 43.

After a lull period Suriya scored a sensational success with Soorarai Pottru (Aakasam Nee Haddu Raa in Telugu). Unfortunately the film didn't had a theatrical release and was released in Amazon Prime due to COVID. The film won numerous accolades. It was selected as one of ten Indian films to be screened in the Best Foreign Film category at the 78th Golden Globe Awards. The film also entered the Panorama Section of the Shanghai International Film Festival. It won five awards at the 68th National Film Awards. Now the duo, Suriya and Director Sudha Kongara is set to reunion for Suriya 43.

This much awaited reunion has been on the cards for a while now, and GV Prakash has also confirmed that he will be composing music for this movie. Tentatively referred to as Suriya 43, this project is currently gearing up for an official announcement and GV Prakash dropped a major hint of the same via his twitter handle.

Suriya 43 is also GV Prakash's 100th project as a composer, and the music director has alerted his fans of an update soon. It is said that the official Suriya 43 / GV100 announcement will be made on July 23, 2023 marking actor Suriya's birthday. 

Sudha Kongara has previously stated that just like Soorarai Pottru, Suriya 43 is a movie based on real life incidents. However the film is not a biopic, and will be made on a grand scale. Official annoucnement and other details will be out on the occasion of Suriya's birthday on July 23. Suriya is now busy with multilingual biggie Kanguva.
