Arun Matheswaran on Captain Miller controversy

Arun Matheswaran reacted to the Captain Miller controversy. Dhanush's Captain Miller landed in a problem when NGOs and a few people lodged complaints against the team for violating rules while shooting at the Kalakad Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve region, Tenkasi.

An eyewitness alleged "'Captain Miller' team has also reportedly damaged the Chenkulam canal bank, which is a lifeline of 15 water tanks, and filled the damaged portion with soil. A petition has been filed against Dhanush's 'Captain Miller' team at the Tenkasi district administration office."

Arun Matheswaran clarified, “The shooting is not taking place in the forest as it is being claimed. It is taking place on private land, and all the necessary permissions have been procured. We have been shooting for almost two-and-a-half months now. The district administration would never have allowed us toerect a big set in that area without proper permissions. The production team has taken care of this issue, and we are continuing to shoot there. ”

He added that the film's shooting is in full swing and requested people not to belive the rumours. Priyanka Arul Mohan is the heroine while Shivarajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, John Kokken, and Viji Chandrasekhar ae playing key roles.
