Prithviraj To Make Biopic of Biscuit Baron

It would be interesting to see if one star directs another star. If reports are to be believed, such a thing is on cards. Prithviraj Sukumaran who is known for his multi-talented skills has already proven as director by delivering Mollywood's one of the highest grossers Lucifer with Mohanlal in his direction. He also directed another comedy carper Bro Daddy with Mohanlal but that is for OTT giant Amazon Prime. Coming to another Star, Suriya Sivakumar these days has become a synonym for biopics after Soorarai Pottru and Jai Bheem, where both films are based on real life personalities. 

Now, according to reports Prithviraj will be directing Suriya for an upcoming film that is based on biscuit king Rajan Pillai. Earlier, it was reported that Prithviraj is set to make his digital debut with the biographical drama of Rajan Pillai, who was widely known as the 'Biscuit Barron' of India. Now, new reports state that Prithviraj is the director and Suriya will be the lead actor in the biopic. In January, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suriya also met after a long time along with their wives, Supriya and Jyothika. The four met for a fun evening and their pics went viral on social media.

Currently, Prithviraj is busy with Bollywood project Bade Miyan Chote Miyan where he is playing the antagonist Kabir in the film, which features Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the titular roles. Prithviraj Sukumaran will kickstart the making of his ambitious project L2: Empuraan with Mohan Lal, which is a sequel to his directorial debut Lucifer. While Suriya is currently busy with the shooting #Suriya42. The movie, which is directed by Siva, is touted to be the most expensive project ever made in the career of Suriya. After wrapping up the project, the actor will join Vetrimaaran directorial VaadiVaasal.
