All eyes are on Mani Ratnam's dream project Ponniyin Selvan 2. In the first part Ponniyin Selvan 1 impressed movie lovers with the elaborate depiction of the Chola Kingdom and how they expanded their empire and the conspiracies to dethrone them. Now movie lovers are waiting eagerly for the release of the second part which is planned for 28 April. Now speculation is increasing on the film's audio launch.
Till recently reports came that the makers are planning to release the audio on 29 March. Now inside talk is the film's audio will be launched on 5 April. A source shares "The audio launch will happen on April 5 in a grand manner. Post the launch, the team decided to go on a promotional tour that includes Kochi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and many other places. There is no change in the release date as well. Many celebrities in the industry are likely to grace the occasion."
The film is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy's novel Ponniyin Selvan and stars Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Jayam Ravi, Karthi,Trisha Krishnan, Prakash Raj, R Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Parthian, Ashwin Kakumanu in important roles.
