Krishna Vamsi after a long time is making a comeback of sorts with his film Rangamarthanda, a remake of the Marathi hit Natasamrat, and another film titled Annam. The film even features Mega Star Chiranjeevi's voice-over in Shayaris to excite all. Speaking to scribes, Krishna Vamsi shared Rangamarthada's secrets.
About the film's genre and storyline, Krishna Vamsi said "It’s about family; the generation gap between parents and children; how today’s sensibilities and attitudes in our social fabric are eating us up, and how we tend to lose our souls in pursuit of success. It’s an engaging family film with a marvelous background score and songs by Ilaiyaraaja. It will also feature a three-and-a-half-minute Telugu shayari by Chiranjeevi garu, which pays tribute to actors’ lives."
Speaking about Annam, he said "After this, I am making another film titled Annam, which is centered on the food mafia. It explores how we pollute natural resources and habitats. I also want to do a web series that needs a grand budget; let’s see how it goes."
He went on to add that he cannot recreate Ninne Pelladuta's magic. He said "If I could make another Ninne Pelladata, I would’ve made it. Only Nagarjuna can be the Greeku Veerudu, and no one can replace Tabu, Sandeep Chowta, Seetharama Sastry, Chalapathi Rao, Giri Babu, Chandra Mohan, and Kavitha. It’s unfair to credit the film’s success only to Nagarjuna or me. It was a beautiful combination of so many people. I can make something similar, but I can never remake or recreate the original."
