Vijay Devarakonda missed Oscar by a whisker according to his hardcore fans. They are blasting the makers of Liger for deleting the most important scenes and they are of the opinion that this action robbed Vijay Devarakonda of the prestigious Oscars. It is known that Vijay Devarakonda put his heart and soul in his Bollywood debut project Liger. The film directed by Puri Jagannath which was released amidst huge expectations and touted to power Bollywood to new heights turned out to be a colossal disaster.

Now inside talk is the film has two scenes but the makers were forced to delete those scenes.  There is a scene between Vijay Devarakonda and Ramya Krishna who played the roles of son and mother. In that emotional scene, Vijay Devarakonda burst down emotionally really instead of acting. In another scene when his lover Ananya Pandey cheats on him, Vijay Devarakonda unable to bear his lover cheating abuses her to the core using the choicest abuses. Sources say Vijay Devarakonda's performance in that scene resembled that of every young boy who gets cheated on by a girl.  But those scenes were deleted after the censor board objected to them due to just one cuss world.
