Allu Arjun made his entry on the silver screen basking under the illustrious stardom of his uncle Mega Star Chiranjeevi. Right after that, he attained stardom with Arya and then did not look back scoring hits like Julayi, Sarrainodu, Race Gurram, S/O Satyamurthy, and finally scored an industry hit with Ala Vaikunthapramlo. At the start of his career, he raved about Chiranjeevi and attributed his success to Chiranjeevi. However as he attained stardom and became Stylish Star, speaking at an audio function, he refused to talk about Power Star Pawan Kalyan and also take his name from saying 'Cheppanu Brother'.
This triggered a huge controversy and fans of Pawan Kalyan and Chiranjeevi breathed fire on him calling him Cunny and not his nickname Bunny. Though Allu Arjun after responded by clarifying his statement and also posed with Pawan Kalyan, mega fans and Pawan Kalyan's fans did not get convinced.
