The historical movie hit the marquee seeking a historical hit in Indian film history! Rrr has got its early morning shows completed just now and the response from the audience is quite positive. Both mega and Nandamuri fans asserted the film could be a solid blockbuster with the magic weaved by Rajamouli with his usual best.
The intros of both Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Tiger NTR were breathtaking as they were executed superlatives. It was Charan's intro first which was followed by NTR's intro. And then an appealing emotional drama built up between the lead stars. The pre interval block is dominated by NTR which is followed by the face off of both the lead stars in the interval block. An emotional fight sequence between them makes the audience shed tears.
Ajay Devgn's entry as Vijaya Ramaraju starts off on an interesting note post the interval block. A little flashback track and there appears Shriya Saran. After a couple of lengthy and emotional sequences which involved even Alia Bhatt, audience felt a lag in the second half. However, it was the ferocious Alluri Seetharamaraju getup of Ram Charan from the second part of the second half that brought the momentum back to the story and which was continued till the end. In that way, the second half is dominated by Charan. And then, Rajamouli didn't give up for displaying his Midas Touch in the climax episode. The film ends up with the song 'Ethara Jenda' seen in title cards.
On a whole, the fans of both the heroes are seen satisfied with the performances of both the heroes. All the songs were shot quite well though they are not great compositions from Keeravani. The BGM was outstanding and so was the cinematography by Senthil.
In a one liner, Rrr is a sure shot BLOCKBUSTER.
