According to the latest, Adivi Sesh's Major fell prey for the third wave of covid pandemic. The makers of Major have taken a decision to postpone the film's release indefinitely. Adivi Sesh's Major was scheduled for a grand release on February 11 but following the closure of theatres in many states and the night curfew, the makers decided to postpone the film.
Sharing the details, the makers revealed “Owing to the aggravation of the covid situation and curfew/limitations in most parts of the country, the release of Major stands postponed. We would announce a new release date soon. Please adhere to all covid protocols and stay safe. Our nation isn’t safe, till each one of us is safe,”
Major is a biopic on Major Sundeep Unnikrishnan who martyred his life during the 26/11 Mumbai Attacks. The film directed by Sashikiran Tikka stars Saiee Manjrekar as Isha, Prakash Raj as K.Unnikrishnan, Revathi as Dhanalakshmi Unnikrishnan while Murali Sharma is playing an important role.
Sricharan Pakala is the music director for the film produced on Sony Pictures India, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, and A+S Movies.
