Tollywood film fraternity and all the stakeholders got super thrilled with the massive roar Natasimha Balakrishna's Akhanda is giving at the box office. The film directed by Boyapati Srinu is getting tremendous response from all quarters across the world bringing back the memories of the pre covid days.
Movie lovers are getting excited as many more exciting films like Allu Arjun's Pushpa, NTR, Ram Charan's RRR, Pawan Kalyan, Rana's Bheemla Nayak, Prabhas' Radhe Shyam are slated for release in the coming days. However covid clouds are hovering around Tollywood as the new variant Omicron is fast spreading across the world and few cases detected in India.
Under these circumstances, the Telangana government also made the wearing of masks and social distancing compulsory. Fears are on that 50% rule in the theatres could be implemented. In the midst of all this, the meeting of Dil Raju, Suryadevara Nagavamsi, Rajamouli, Trivikram Srinivas, Naveen, Vamsi, Balagovind Raju, and Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce secretary Anupam Reddy met Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and discussed various issues.
They requested the minister and the state government to resolve the problems quickly as the cost of filmmaking increased and a lot of stakeholders are involved. The minister assured them that the government will take a decision after analyzing the ticket pricing in various states and also the rules implemented there. He asked the film fraternity to follow the covid precautions diligently so as to ensure that covid will not wreak havoc. He made it clear that theatres in the state will not be shutdown for the fear of Omicron.
