Maharshi, Jersey makers receive national awards

Mahesh Babu's Maharshi and Nani's Jersey won national awards for their projects. Maharshi received two National Film Awards, including Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and Best Choreography while Best Film and Best Editing for 2021.

Today the national awards were presented at a grand ceremony conducted in New Delhi, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu presented the awards, and the Maharshi team and Jersey team received the honors much to the delight of the movie lovers.

Maharshi is a message-oriented film where the protagonist comes to know about the plight of the farmers through his friend, lands from the USA to the remote village in India, and then solve their problems. Jersey on the other hand is a sports-based drama where a talented but failed cricketer decides to return to cricket in his mid-30s to fulfill his son's desire.
