Character actor Raja Babu breathed his last on Sunday night. 64-year-old Raja Babu had been unwell for a few years. He is survived by his wife, two sons, and a daughter. Raja Babu born in Narasaraopeta, Ramachandrapuram, East Godavari district acted in many dramas since childhood across the country.
He made his acting debut with Ooriki Monagadu in 1995 and went on to star in films like Sindhuram, Samudram, Aduvari Matalaku Arthale Verule,Murairi, Bharat Ane Nenu, Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu etc. Raja Babu who starred in different roles in 62 films even made his presence felt on small screen in serials like Vasantha Kokila, Abhishekam, Radha Madhu, Manasu Mamata, Bangaru Kodalu, Bangaru Panjram, Naa Kodalu Bangaram, Chi. La.Sou Sravanthi etc. He won the Nandi award for his performance in Amma serial in 2005.
The industry is in shock as Raja Babu was close to everyone and they address him lovingly as Babai.
