Rajesh Touchriver is known for his power-packed and heartwrenching films and he won national awards for his works. According to the latest, it is coming out that Rajesh Touchriver is getting ready to come with a powerful take with his upcoming entertainer Dahini-The Witch touching on the controversial topic of witch-hunting.

The film stars JD. Chakravarthy and Tannishtha Chatterjee in the lead roles and is co-produced by Human Rights activist and Padma Shri recipient Sunitha Krishnan and Pradeep Narayanan. The film is bankrolled on Orion Pictures International Pvt. Ltd. and SunTouch Productions.

Currently, pre-production is in full swing and the film stars   Ashique Hussain, Badrul Islam, Angana Roy, Riju Bajaj, Jagannath Seth, Sruthy Jayan, Dilip Das, and Dattatreya in important roles. The film is a powerful take on ‘scourge of witch-hunting, which manifests as gender-based violence where women become an easy prey.
