Gone are the days when Tollywood filmmakers used to have only happy ending to please movie lovers. They used to dread to come with a sad ending for the fear of attracting the wrath of the movie lovers and risk the film's performance at the box office. So much so their fear was that even when they used to remake successful films from other languages with sad endings, they used to tweak the climax to satisfy movie lovers.

But of late, movie lovers started accepting sad and different endings and filmmakers also started experimenting. The trend of shocking climaxes can be seen in films like Uppena and Sri Devi Soda Centre. Now speculation is increasing on Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi's Love Story.

But When asked Naga Chaitanya said that they had shot one climax before the lockdown but they reshoot the same in a better manner. Sai Pallavi however said Sekhar Kammula touched caste differences, conflicts, and gender inequality in the film. But if the film has a bold climax, then Love Story will set a new trend in Tollywood.
