After Jeevitha, Hema joins MAA contest

The election of Movie Artists Association (MAA) is creating ripples among actors. Until the other day, many thought it would be a fight between Vishnu Manchu and Prakash Raj. But on Wednesday, Jeevitha Rajasekhar expressed her willingness to contest the MAA election.

Now we have another female in the race for MAA polls and she is character artist Hema Syed. Speaking on the same, Hema said, “I have worked as Vice President of MAA, Joint Secretary and like always, I was waiting for the MAA elections. When Prakash Raj and Vishnu entered the poll battle, I made up my mind not to contest but I have been receiving a lot of calls and messages from female supporters within the industry and noted people. A few of them pressured me.”

Seems like Hema has bowed down to the pressure and decided to contest the elections. “Taking my well-wishers opinion into confidence, I would like to contest the MAA elections for President’s role,” said Hema.
